IMPACT has participated in environmental conservation by joining the 2nd 'Thai Youth Driving Environmental Conservation'

On June 5th, 2024, Khun Jintana Phongpakdee, Director of Corporate Communications Department, represented the management team and staff of IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, at the 2nd “Thai Youth Driving Environmental Conservation” event, held on Global Environment Day. She also delivered a speech on 'The Private Sector and Environmental Support,' along with presenting documentary films and exhibitions."

As a private sector entity and a major exhibition and convention center operator in Thailand, welcoming over 15 million visitors annually for events, conferences, seminars, and concerts, IMPACT cannot deny that we play a vital role in greenhouse gas emissions from our events and activities. Therefore, IMPACT has initiated various projects for environmental conservation, such as projects to reduce, avoid, and quit using plastic containers, waste sorting projects, and zero waste projects.

Moreover, IMPACT also aims to encourage and invite customers, including organizers, corporates, and event planners who hold events at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, to choose sustainable event practices or reduce the use of unnecessary items. IMPACT supports all kinds of sustainable events, as we are aware that driving business and economic growth with low carbon emissions is not the responsibility of certain working groups, but rather, everyone needs to cooperate to achieve visible results."

IMPACT Insight would like to invite all IMPACT members to help conserve the environment by reducing the use of plastic containers, turning off lights and electronics when not in use, and sorting waste. If we consistently take these small actions, they can contribute to saving the planet."
