“MUANGTHONG Hackathon”, a project for the new generation who have ideas to elevate the quality of life of the people of Muang Thong Thani
The winners of “MUANGTHONG Hackathon” have been announced. This project opened up opportunities for the younger generation to present their ideas, incorporate new technologies , and offer perspectives to elevate quality of life for the people of Muang Thong Thani”. The aim is to transform Muang Thong Thani into a comprehensive “Smart City”. The competition revolved around five key topics including Smart Environment, Smart Mobility, Smart Living, Smart Energy, and Smart People.

The registration began in January. There were 72 teams of interested students. 12 teams were selected for the first round to join the Hackathon Camp on 1-3 April 2024, where they participated in Workshop Class and received guidance from mentors from Bangkok Land company.
During the Final Pitching round on 9 May 2024, 12 teams showed their potential, presented their projects, and answered questions from judges to win the prize worth 160,000 baht.
Following the rigorous competition,
the winning teams have been officially announced as follows.
The winner is Team Teletubbies, the owner of CuddleCam, project from Institute of Field Robotics. Institute of field robotics. King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.
The first runner-up is Team Super ranger Muangthong, the owner of The Oasis project from Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting Program (International Program), Thammasat University.
The second runner-up is Team มังกรดิน, the owner of Evotrack (Environment Track) project from Data Science and Innovation, Thammasat University and Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn Business School.
Popular Vote goes to Team สุภชัย , the owner of มาตา (MATA) project from Bachelor of Business Administration Program In Digital Entrepreneurial Management.
