Did you know? We are working in a Green Exhibition & Convention Center
a mission to reduce waste and save the planet that everyone can join!

Because protecting the "environment" is not the responsibility of any single individual.

To mark World Environment Day on June 5th, we invite everyone to look at the proud milestones that would not have been possible without "all of our hands" working together to drive IMPACT Muang Thong Thani forward on its sustainable business journey.

Through our venue management under ESG principles, we encompass clean energy, comprehensive end-to-end waste management, sustainable event organization, eco-friendly transportation, and safe, sustainable catering services. All of this is aimed at being a driving force behind the long-term, sustainable growth of the Thai MICE industry.

One of the key initiatives is promoting clean energy through the installation of solar cells across various areas of the center. These installations include the roofs of the Challenger halls, Parking Building 2 (P2), Parking Building 3 (P3), ibis Bangkok IMPACT, and Novotel Bangkok IMPACT. Together, they can generate over 9,565,765.57 kWh of electricity per year, significantly reducing reliance on the main power grid.

In addition, energy-saving practices have been implemented in accordance with ISO 50001 standards, such as upgrading to LED lighting throughout the venue and replacing insect traps. There are also plans to expand clean energy initiatives to other areas in the future.

Our comprehensive waste management follows the 4Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Working alongside event organizers, partners, and vendors, we promote reducing single-use plastics and adopting eco-friendly packaging. We also practice proper waste segregation—separating food waste, plastics, and paper—so that materials can be effectively repurposed.

Concrete examples include transforming surplus food waste from events into soil nutrients for agricultural areas and green spaces around Muang Thong Thani. Additionally, cardboard boxes and other leftover materials are repurposed into decorative items, truly reflecting the concept of a circular economy.

In terms of food services, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani encourages on-site restaurants and catering providers to use safe, certified, and eco-friendly ingredients. This is paired with minimizing unnecessary packaging to elevate service quality while demonstrating environmental responsibility.
Sustainable Events & Green Packages As Thailand’s pioneer in setting sustainable event guidelines, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani introduced the “IMPACT Sustainable Meeting” package in late 2022, which evolved into the “Green Package” in 2023. This initiative supports all event types, from meetings and seminars to exhibitions and concerts.
The feedback has been remarkable: in 2025, the number of organizers choosing our sustainable packages grew by 158% year-on-year. Moving forward, IMPACT is committed to driving this sustainable event trend even further in the years to come.

For green mobility, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani encourages public transportation to cut down on private car usage and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Visitors can now enjoy seamless connections via the Pink Line monorail and other transit options. We also offer an on-site EV Shuttle service, further driving our commitment to end-to-end clean energy.

Because true sustainability...
Doesn’t come from a single person doing grand things, but from all of us doing small actions every single day. Whether it’s “turning it off when not in use to save power for the planet,” or bringing your “favorite reusable tumbler” to fuel up on your workday morning—these thoughtful and caring habits significantly reduce a massive amount of single-use plastic waste in our building.

Let’s work together to transform our office and exhibition center into a home that cares more for our planet, every single day.
