Unlocking New Opportunities:
IMPACT Muang Thong Thani boosts GI products for local sustainability

            On February 19, the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), the Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaboration aims to promote distribution channels and drive the market presence of GI (Geographical Indication) products. The signing ceremony took place at Xian Yuan Chinese Restaurant, 5th Floor, Dusit Central Park.
            The signing ceremony was graced by Ms. Auramon Supthaweethum, Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), Ministry of Commerce; Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand; and Mr. Paul Kanjanapas, Chief Executive Officer of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., who jointly signed the agreement to solidify this cooperation.

            This collaboration aims to collectively drive, promote, and enhance the potential of GI entrepreneurs by raising public awareness through strategic PR initiatives. By expanding market access and creating new sales opportunities, the partnership seeks to add value to local products, distribute income to communities, and build long-term economic resilience. As part of this mission, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani will serve as the key coordinator, overseeing strategic planning and providing dedicated spaces to broaden market horizons for GI entrepreneurs

Upskilling Thai businesses via premium trade showcases

           Furthermore, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani signed an additional Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thai Chamber of Commerce to promote domestic trade exhibitions and elevate the potential of Thai entrepreneurs through world-class exhibition platforms. Under this agreement, the Thai Chamber of Commerce will take a lead role in public relations and business networking, creating new opportunities for SMEs to expand their partnerships both locally and internationally.
          This collaboration will kick off at DigiTech ASEAN Thailand 2026 – AI Connect 2026, the premier international exhibition and conference on technology and digital trends in ASEAN. The event is scheduled to take place from July 22 – 24, 2026, at Hall 5 – 6, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
