World Environment Day rolls around in June every year, and this year the day is celebrated worldwide on June 5, 2025.
As a proactive player in the exhibition industry and Thailand’s largest exhibition center, the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center where draws more than 1,000 events to the center every year always encourages staff and individuals to adopt sustainability practices to minimize negative environmental impacts our people in the exhibition industry generate.
Sustainability has long been the cornerstone of the culture at IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. From energy efficiency and water conservation to recycling and zero waste initiatives, by all means, we do our part to greatly conserve the environment.
Zero Waste Project: IMPACT composts and turns food waste and scraps into dry compost fertilizer for plants by using food waste composing machines that help reduce waste and make the earth a better place.
IMPACT has completed the installation of LED lighting across all buildings along with solar electric systems. We also ask our employees to turn off lights when not in use and during lunch break.
IMPACT separates waste in separate bins, opting for reusable trash cans. We ensure proper waste management to be in place for optimal results.
We roll out the green meeting package that is designed to mitigate climate change as well as discourage the use of table clothes, chair covers, and plastic straws. The air conditioner’s temperature is set at 25 degrees Celsius to make it environmentally friendly. Excess food from the events are donated to various foundations as a way to contribute to society.
Actions speak louder than words. IMPACT has actively participated in sustainable and social events that include the Environmental and Social Foundation to foster environmental stewardship in children and inspire them to play a part in our global efforts to make a better future.
This May marked the 3rd anniversary of Environmental Education that helps children to better understand the world and the crisis of endangered species through documentary story telling. IMPACT staff visited Thansamritwitthaya School, Sri Sangwan School, and WATPHOBANAOY school to educate the students.
