IMPACT Muang Thong Thani receives ISO 20121 certification, moving forward to the sustainable event management. 
The IMPACT community is delighted as IMPACT Muang Thong Thani makes history by becoming the first in Thailand to receive the latest ISO 20121:2024 certification for sustainable event management.
Khun Kunwadee Jintavorn, Executive Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., represented the company in receiving the ISO 20121 certification from Mr.Terachai Yaoprukchai, Sustainability Business Manager of SGS (Thailand) Limited , a leading global organization specializing in inspection, testing, and certification of international standards.
The ISO 20121 certification is a testament to IMPACT’s commitment to sustainable operations, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions—one of the key factors contributing to climate change. This initiative focuses on three key approaches to ensuring a better future for the next generations:
- Environmental aspect - focus on reducing the impact by applying the 4R principles of resource management, including reducing waste generation, choosing eco-friendly and biodegradable materials, promoting waste separation and optimal resource utilization, and encouraging the use of clean energy and energy conservation.
- Social aspect - The company fosters creativity and employee development to drive sustainable growth, builds a socially responsible culture, values community feedback, and promotes a strong corporate social responsibility mindset.
- Governance Aspect – IMPACT promotes sustainability across the supply chain by supporting stakeholder initiatives, mitigating climate change effects, and encouraging local employment. Additionally, the company prioritizes Green Procurement by selecting environmentally certified products and services with sustainability labels.
All in all, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani was one of the first venues in Thailand to officially announce its capability to host sustainable events with the launch of the "IMPACT Sustainable Meeting" package in 2022. This initiative caters to meeting and seminar organizers seeking eco-friendly event solutions.
Within just one year, the program received positive feedback from event organizers, allowing the company to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 663.38 kilograms of CO₂ - equivalent to planting 40 trees.
Building on this success, IMPACT expanded its sustainability efforts in 2023 with the launch of the "Green Package." This initiative extends sustainable practices to all event types, including conferences, exhibitions, concerts, banquets, and weddings. The strong response from clients across various industries further reinforces IMPACT’s position as a leader in sustainable event management.
