IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Conducts Annual Pandemic Prevention Exercise 2026
to Enhance Emergency Preparedness

Although the COVID-19 situation has subsided, the possibility of its resurgence or the emergence of new infectious diseases remains unpredictable. Therefore, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Thailand’s leading exhibition and convention center, remains fully prepared by integrating the Pandemic Response Plan into its annual emergency exercise program.

Most recently, the Operations Department—in collaboration with relevant units including Loss Control & Prevention, Client Relations & Services, Building Management, Corporate Communications, Standards Control, and the Safety Team—conducted the Annual Pandemic Response Drill 2026 at Atrium 1B, Challenger Hall, ensuring staff readiness to effectively handle any emergency situation.

"The drill simulated a COVID-19 outbreak scenario, where participating departments practiced standard operating procedures in real time—ranging from health screening and isolating suspected cases to quarantine protocols and proper medical transfers to hospitals.

Temperature screening to identify individuals with a body temperature exceeding 37.5°C

Conducting medical history screening at the checkpoint

Administer ATK test to suspected individuals

Gathering additional patient information prior to hospital transport

Transporting the patient to the hospital for disease control protocols and further medical treatment

This exercise reflects IMPACT Muang Thong Thani’s commitment to maintaining effective emergency readiness, while fostering proper operational knowledge and understanding among staff to ensure safety and confidence for all visitors and clients."
