One of the IMPACT Restaurant groups that receives so much love from people is The Coffee Academics, a premium specialty coffee house from Hong Kong, which has opened for business since 2019. Today, IMPACT Insight would like to invite everyone to get to know the Head of the Coffee Academics and Manager Area in a more in-depth perspective. Let’s talk to them now.

Introduce yourself, experience and scope of work

Hello, my name is Pui Tanawat Jayuutdiskul. I am Head of The Coffee Academics. I have started working with IMPACT since February 2021 and previously, I had worked in the coffee industry for more than 8 years. At first, it was just my hobby; from a person who didn’t drink coffee until I had tried specialty coffee that impressed me so much. Then, I quit a research company to work in the coffee farm and after that I got back to work in a coffee company in Bangkok where I oversaw sales, coffee equipment, coffee beans, technical support, coffee business and consulting.

My current scope of work is to manage all branches of The Coffee Academics where we have a back office team, front desk and kitchen team of 38 people under my management.

What is your motto and what are you proud of in your work?

I believe everything is possible and I believe the potential of my team. I make the most of what we have and use it in the right way. Since I have worked here, I’m impressed by my team for how they help each other, especially catering in the Motor Show event, which is a big and urgent work on my day one here, however, my team and others got it done successfully even in such a short time.

How do you work happily in your own way?

I like to come up with new ideas and I enjoy experimenting to get the best result for my team. When my ideas can be adopted, it makes me so happy.

Introduce yourself, experience and scope of work

Hello, my name is Saranya Sirimanon aka Joy. I’m a Manager-Area at The Coffee Academics. I have worked with IMPACT since 16th February 2021. I’ve been experienced in the food and beverage industry for all along. I’m happy with this work when I can satisfy customers’ needs and I also get to solve problems which makes me improve myself every day. I’m in charge of the operation aspect at all branches of The Coffee Academics.

What is your motto and what are you proud of in your work?

My motto is “Do your best today”. It doesn’t matter how the result will come out, but at least we try our best. During all these times, I have encountered various experiences including with colleagues or customers which makes me learn and improve myself.

How do you work happily in your own way?

I adopt the motto “Do your best today” because I believe that if we put our heart into the things we do, we will be happy to work every day.
