We have already passed 2 episodes for ‘here at IMPACT…We are friends’. Today IMPACT insight is back with Ep.3 and this time we will get to know Miss Wan and Miss Duean, 2 admin ladies from Facilities Management department who will share their work point of views. Let’s talk with them now!

Introduce yourself and your responsibility

I’m Wilawan Namwong, aka Wan. I have worked as a Supervisor Administrative for 10 years and 5 months. My main responsibilities are controlling and operating the administrative section, coordinating with the head of department, operating the process of inbound and outbound documents, managing response letters and payment documents for contractors, releasing public relation news and recording the meeting minutes, following up work assigned by supervisor to make sure it will  be completed on time.

What are you proud of in your work at IMPACT?

For all 10 years and 5 months that I have worked at IMPACT, my main responsibilities are about controlling the document system, coordinating and also supporting many projects such as Solar Roof project, installing equipment to save energy project (BBP), researching disinfectant equipment to prevent Covid-19, etc. All these projects are under the responsibility of the Facilities Management and IT & Communication so, I would say it is quite a lot of tasks to handle but I take it as a “challenge” for me. I am proud of myself when the tasks are done successfully and even though my task is just a cog in the machine of the organization, but I’m happy that I’m part of it.

What is your work motto?

Enjoy and love what you do. Do your best in every work assigned and have attention for details and accuracy. Be open to learning new things.

How to work happily in your own way?

Be detail-oriented and have a clear objective to work. Most importantly, the tasks need to be done in time and also help support your colleagues.

Introduce yourself and your responsibility

My name is Somkit Rakkeaw, aka Duean, the Senior Officer-Administrative. I have worked here for 9 years and 8 months at the Facilities Management and IT & Communication. I’m in charge of coordinating with the Repair and Maintenance team and other departments involved. I also attend the activities in the organization including helping at the scanning point when we have events, following and updating PR news for the team, monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and informing staff of how to protect themselves from COVID-19.

What are you proud of in your work at IMPACT?

I see the admin team support each other even when they have to work from home, which may seem like a harder task, yet working from home is not a problem at all. Even though we have to work more with less face-to-face interaction, the tasks are still carried on, such as managing contracts of the contractors, submitting letters to relevant departments, and claiming the insurance for the events. With good management you can work from home efficiently as the admin team has LINE group chats to assign tasks for everyone. We also have Anydesk application to make things easier. All in all, coworker cooperation is the most important aspect in achieving success at work.

What is your work motto?

To have good colleagues is one of the factors that make people want to come to work, so it’s necessary to learn how to adapt yourself and compromise so that you can work more efficiently. When we face any obstacle, at least we still have a motivation to work. I work happily by helping and sharing good things with others.

What do you think about Miss Wan and Miss Deaun’s ideas? Stay tuned to find out who will be interviewed next!
